Βίντεο που δημοσιεύτηκαν από διάφορα ρωσικά μέσα ενημέρωσης δείχνουν μαύρο καπνό να υψώνεται ανάμεσα σε ουρανοξύστες στην περιοχή στις όχθες του ποταμού Μόσχα.
Τα αίτια της έκρηξης είναι μέχρι στιγμής ασαφή και δεν είναι γνωστό αν βρισκόταν κάποιος μέσα στο όχημα τη στιγμή της έκρηξης.
